I actually will be for the first time, doin...Amen!

I actually will be for the first time, doing the Total Consecration to Mary on the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

I confess I haven't done the 33 day prep, but was informed that it's not strictly necessary, but rather is designed to dispose one better to it. But I've been studying Mariology all semester, and maybe she has been preparing me herself.

Besides...it's fitting: I've been to the Basilica in Mexico City twice, unfortunately wasn't a practicing Catholic at the time, but still, she struck a chord in me both times. I was struggling to know God...but my Mother was right there.

Perhaps when I renew the consecration I'll backtrack and properly do all the prep. All in God's time.

All I can do right now is crack the door open. Mary will do the rest.Adorohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02853244433854822731noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13860237.post-84871304737290048522009-12-08T11:00:05.439-07:002009-12-08T11:00:05.439-07:00So true! And in our waiting and reflection we try...So true! And in our waiting and reflection we try to find that movement, that rhythm of our own. This Saturday I re-consecrate to Jesus Through Mary on the Feast of OUr Lady of Guadalupe. This will be my third year and I'm as excited as the first time.kamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08248881807382198330noreply@blogger.com
